The room with decent facilities.

Excellent staff throughout.

Everything was good during 1 day, loved its great location just next door to the centre of the village with a shop ajacent, and the square outside.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

Plenty of brilliant options for meal.

I found the venue just a few steps away, both charming and walkable. The friendly bar with cheap pints added a nice touch to my evening strolls.

The most important was the staff - excellent and efficient people. Overall it was big size, with a private bathroom.

I found the friendly staff to be really helpful , and the location is perfect for a weekend stroll, with the Coldharbour Mill Museum just a short 10-minute walk away and beautiful Culmstock Beacon only 5 km away, ideal for outdoor experiences.

Great free Wi-Fi and comfy bed, but the TV was too small for the room.

Warm and cute stay with great amenities

I recently spent one night in a cozy twin room, and was really surprised by the warm welcome from the host Jack. The room was tidy and offered all the essentials, including USB plugs in the wall sockets, super handy. The pub had a nice selection of ales, and the back entrance provided convenient access. A minor drawback was the lack of designated parking, but there were plenty of nearby options available.

I stayed here for one night and felt welcomed right away by the friendly staff. The room was cozy and had good value. The bed was comfortable. I was disappointed that the pub wasn't serving food . This limited my dining options considerably. The location was great for my travels, but the lack of on-site dining was a letdown. I would have appreciated knowing about the food situation beforehand.

Convenient stay near my visit

The place was super close to where I was heading. The bed linens and towels were clean and crisp, which I totally appreciate. Got some breakfast in the morning, and that was a nice touch. Only thing was the noise from the street. It was a bit much at times.

Helping me with anything I needed and providing me with a comfy bed and USB plugs by the sockets. I really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi during my downtime. The decor was a bit worn, but it didn't stop me from having a pleasant visit overall. 😊

Room was warm and really comfy. Got a nice surprise with some Kit Kats and biscuits waiting for us. Had everything we needed, even a hairdryer and USB plugs. Perfect for a short stay, and the locals were super friendly too. No designated parking, but plenty on the side. Can't complain!

This place has a charming village vibe, great ales, and a cozy atmosphere. The complimentary Kit Kat in our warm, comfortable Twin Room was a sweet surprise!
